  • Parents assist in the classrooms with art and science lessons.
  • RES has an active Parent Teacher Organization that is involved in school-wide strategic planning, fundraising, teacher appreciation activities, and classroom volunteerism. PTO meetings are scheduled monthly.
  • Parents volunteer regularly to read with students, assist teachers in classrooms as aides, and as chaperones for field trips.
  • School Improvement Team (SIT) meetings are held periodically throughout year to evaluate programs, examine data, determine proper use of resources; some parents are on the SIT and others are encouraged to participate.
